Q. Why these dates?

A. Boyd's Farm can stay open in the off season only with 6 or more guests on campus. The goal of this event is to extend the number of days their magnificent staff get to work. If this fails, see the info page, linked above, for dates they are already open. If this works, I'll try to organize one or two of these each fall/winter.

Q. Can I come earlier or stay later?

A. Yes, if there are enough people on campus -- see info page or contact Jo Lloyd  for a specific response to requested dates. Additional nights are $150; an 8 day/7 night stay earns a $100 discount off the total.

Q. Rhonda, what do you get out of this?

A. Inspirational company & a chance to boost the Highlights staff's satisfaction with jobs they love & do so, so well.

Q. Is this for a particular genre of writing?

A. Any and all writers welcome, and other creatives who can get work done in this quiet environment.

Q. Kids? Spouses/partners? (No pets.)

A. This is a time to focus, away from all other obligations and pulls. That said, if someone else can do the childcare, there is room for small families in the cabins. Check with Jo Lloyd on how that would work.

This event has a group. You’re welcome to join the group once you register for the event.
